EstateMin Raises €1 Million Pre-Seed Round
EstateMin raises €1 million to help trust and estate firms take on more matters
New York, October 21, 2026. EstateMin, trust and estate software that takes every matter from client intake to court filing, fully synced with Clio, has raised €1 million (approximately $1.1 million) in pre-seed funding.
The round includes NDRC, First Port Syndicate, and angel investors Mike Hanrahan, Moira McKenna and Conor Stanley, alongside other angels. Enterprise Ireland also invested through its High Potential Start-Up program.
The funding will accelerate customer acquisition across the US, grow our go-to-market team, and expand our engineering and product teams.
Why we built EstateMin
EstateMin started with one question: why are highly trained legal professionals spending so much time retyping information?
Cofounder Oisín Dolphin went through probate after his father died and saw how manual and paper-heavy the process still was. CEO Isabella Hughes, a law graduate and former legal executive, recognized it straight away. Taking information a client had already provided and typing it in again was part of her working day.
Our third cofounder, John Noonan, spent more than four years at Clio. He saw firms struggle with intake forms that had to be completed in one sitting, and with the same client details retyped across every system. That is why EstateMin was built to work inside the tools firms already use, with deep two-way Clio sync from day one.
"We've gone from working on that problem in Dogpatch Labs to building specifically for firms across America," said Isabella Hughes. "Now we want to see how far we can take it."
From client intake to court filing, in one place
Most trust and estate firms still run on fillable PDFs, spreadsheets and retyping. Clients stall on intake forms, staff chase them by email every morning, and the same names and assets are typed into Clio and every court form. EstateMin removes that work so firms can take on more matters without adding paralegals.
- AI data extraction. Contacts, assets, account details and balances are pulled straight from wills, bank and brokerage statements, and scanned documents.
- A client portal client actually finished. Firm-branded, mobile-friendly, and auto-saved, with magic link login and automatic follow-ups, so nobody on your team has to chase.
- One record for every matter. The estate overview holds every person, asset, debt and document, with a review checklist that flags missing valuations and incomplete information.
- Court forms, auto-populated. Enter a detail once and it fills the forms, such as inventories, with state coverage expanding.
- Deep two-way Clio sync. Contacts, assets and documents sync both ways, with documents filed in structured folders.
- Clients for life. Estate planning clients keep lifetime portal access and get regular nudges to keep their information current, so they come back to your firm.
Built for US firms
EstateMin supports law firms in all 50 states. Revenue is growing 20% month over month, and firms using EstateMin manage more than $770 million in estate value.
We estimate firms save 5 to 7 hours on each estate planning matter and 5 to 10 hours on each estate administration matter. EstateMin was also named a top-three finalist for Best Practice of Law in the 2026 Clio Integration Awards.
What this means for firms
This round lets us invest where our customers feel it most: more people in the US to onboard and support firms, and faster product development. Coming next:
- A direct WealthCounsel integration, now in beta and expected by the end of the year, so intake data flows into drafting without retyping
- A probate bond integration with our insurance partner, now nearly complete
- More state court forms, auto-populated from the estate overview
